To Know Feels Safe

People say when you miss someone

To go look outside at the stars and moon

To then take comfort in knowing that even in the distance between you

They could be looking up too

The view is shared with others

But the knowledge of the other is between the two

In a similar way

Comfort is taken when I listen to music

The music that was recommended to me

I feel peace in knowing what I listen to
