kNOw Justice

In Ferguson, Missouri

we ran the streets

we tried to keep the peace and stop those

who were up to no good

including the ones

walking down the middle of the road

blocking traffic and looking for

life was about making your own way

from sunup to sundown

we stayed alive the only way we knew how

and caused some trouble in the process

feds hated all of us

they used excessive force and

always assumed we were looking for

trouble

so I did what I was trained to do

and provide safety to those around me

the end result was a criminal

on the ground

and always found some way to get rid of us

whether it be death or jail

so here I am

unarmed    with bullets in my chest

dead

that day I served

corrupt

justice
