Know Your Relationship

Know Your Relationship

Healthy, eating right?

Healthy, acting right?

Healthy, loving right?

What is “right”?

Is it correct,

or is it what we imagine to be correct?

What is healthy?

Eating your greens?

Opening the doors for others?

Feeling passionate about someone?

The connection between two people,

That is a relationship.

Whether that connection is good or bad.

How do you know?

What about a healthy relationship?

What does that mean?

Is it saying you love them?

Is it giving extravagant gifts,

Lowering your bank account?

Is it getting jealous?

Is it putting fear into the other person?

No!

A healthy relationship is

Trusting the other person

Caring for them,

By showing them with your actions.

Not expecting anything in return,

Doing nice things just because you care.

Communication the biggest key

Talking with the other person will always be better

Than hiding

Assuming

Ignoring.

Talking means expressing.

Talking means getting through tough times,

The mature way,

Talking makes a relationship a step healthier.

Trust means not getting jealous.

Trust means giving them freedom.

A healthy relationship is only what you make of it,

Don’t mistake fancy items,

Fancy words

And jealousy

For a healthy relationship.

That is a dominant, narrow-minded trap

Called a relationship.
