Knowledge

knowledge

useless knowledge

about ancient history

and far away countries

about serial killers

and presidents

about the trail of tears

and 9/11

and the anatomy of the brain

if nothing else, i want to have knowledge

of things that me cry and laugh and wonder

knowledge is

intangible as the soul

omnipresent as the sky

with knowledge i need not objects or people

to occupy my mind

knowledge is self-sufficient

knowledge is everything
