Knowledge Blues

School is so stressful I wish it was stressless

Spoke to my advisor to seek where the help is

Pulled up my schedule to see what she can help with

I have no classes, for that I feel helpless

I had them before, then later I lost them

I didnt make the grade so financial aid? Lost it

(Which made my rescuer care less)

I paid for one class, but how? Out of pocket

Sometimes I wish I knew how to pay for this knowledge

With my siblings in jail, mom wants me in college

I love it here too, it's just college is costly.

My classes I passed, exception of one

I come to class daily with exceptions of funds

I want a degree, for me and my mom

I just don't know how I will pay for it.
