With Knowledge Increases Sorrow
Sometimes I wish I could just erase who I AM
Like butterfly effect yet not b-cuz of sorrow I caused but b-cuz of pain
To my savior and to His body
To myself for the stance I take
As to this day I am still smoking and if I had a toke I would be toking
Though I AM the righteousness of God
I still sin
If not on the outside
Then deep within
Just being honest my friend
I have pushed so many people away
And the medications I take, yo, they label me insane
What good is a beautiful mind
If I cannot find or see the beauty developing inside of me
So bump rap I'm on to poetry
Or am I lyrically trappin you for you to see
So that I can get a verbal affirmation from you to me
When no-one but God knows what we have been through
I wish I could have a friend
Like David to Johnathen
Or a wife for life that could affirm me
And truly see what the Holy Ghost sees
But that is impossible as how can it be
That a friend or a wife could see beyond infinity
As God, even Jesus, is beyond that as He is greater than Himself
Yo, I cannot even put myself on the shelf
As even when I sleep I dream
Are any of you feelin me?
As with knowledge increases sorrow
But how do you shut off the knowledge you WILL gain tomorrow
You C there I AM again
WILL C what tomorrow WILL B
Maybe it WILL Bring, Will A
Screw it I WILL B content with WILL-I-AM today.
