Knowledge is Power

I don't understand why we are the way we are,

Most of this generation's cares belong to money and cars,

What happened to all the kindness, respect and laughs,

All we distribute is violence, hatred, jabs.

We need to expand our minds with knowledge,

You "stay on your grind", but what about college?

Better yourself, before it's too late!

You don't want to struggle for what's on your plate.

I've been there before, wondering when the struggle will end.

It will all be worth it, work hard, and pick up your chin.

You may think "all this work for a piece of paper",

But in the end, your mind will be greater.
