Kryptonite

You were supposed to be my Superman

Coming to the rescue when I needed you most

But when you came, you didn’t come to rescue me, you came to steal my priceless treasure.

You were supposed to be my Superman.

Wait, I didn’t know that kryptonite was white and sticky…

They say blood is supposed to be thicker than water but if I took a sample of your blood and took a sample of mine, it would float.

And your fucking “kryptonite” is thicker than both.

You were supposed to be my Superman

So I guess you used your fucking X-ray vision to violate me in your mind until you could use the darkness of night as your cloak to creep and sneak into my personal haven

Funny, now you sound more like Batman than Superman

You were supposed to be my Superman

You destroyed me, what’s the purpose of destroying something you helped build?

I’ve always wondered why my eyes sting when I cry at night until I took a look at my pillow and saw that your face was floating in my teardrops but you just won’t drown

Your grimy laugh is recorded to the hell of my brain as the twisted lullaby I hear every night and the play button is stuck

You were supposed to be my Superman

You’re so sick Clark Kent can’t even stand you!

I want an answer to a question that is automatically rhetorical because nothing you say can ever justify but I just want to know why.

Why did you do it?

Was it because I wasn’t worth anything to you?

Or was it because you couldn’t get laid even if you walked through a whorehouse with a handful of cash so you had to force me into pleasing you?

The scars that you left faded to only be replaced by the scars I gave myself by trying to rip every last piece of you out of my DNA. I guess the family ties aren’t as tight as they seem.

You were supposed to be my Superman…

But you turned out to be my Lex Luthor
