La Primera Vez (the first time)

That one day down at the fields

I went, not knowing I'd be head over heels

in love.

The look on your face was priceless,

and at once i knew I was in the right place.

Not knowing what to say,

all I could muster was "hey"

and you just looked into my eyes

but you looked at me diffrent,

from the other guys.

And I knew that was

la primera vez

that I loved you

and the day I would not rest

until I could do

everything in my power

to take care of my little flower

I still remember the day

that we went to Church

and I asked if you could stay,

and when you said "of course",

you sent my heart racing like a horse,

because this was my one chance,

to get it right.

In the mist of all the fun,

although the stars were out,

your face was as bright as the sun.

and when my friends began to flock,

I took the chance,

and pulled you behind the rock.

I looked into your eyes

and they seemed to dance

like big blue fireflies.

And with my hands on your hips

it took just a kiss

And i knew that was

la primera vez

that I loved you

and the day I would not rest

until I could do,

with everything in my power

to take care of my little flower~

y yo sabia

que yo la amaba

*in honor of my girlfiend. No distance, nor other person can come between two hearts, if they truly love the other.
