Labels

Our labels define us

Mother,

 Father,

Student,

Nerd.

Jock,

Alcoholic,

Gay,

Straight.

If I could change one thing,

Just one thing

I would strip the labels off a blind world’s eyes

and show the world

we are all

sinners

sinners

in God’s eyes.

If the labels could be cast away

could we maybe then see?

God loves each and every one of us.

Regardless of what the world says.
