Lace

Home is not a house,

you can hardly call it a place.

It's more like a collection of memories,

spun into an intricate lace.

So when you leave somewhere,

the warmth of familiar faces-

Just put on your shawl of memories,

and smile for your collection of laces.

Beautiful poem! Short, sweet, and to the point but very, very true! I love the metaphore. Do you have more poems?
