Lack of Perseverance

I know I could have done more

Playing vido game so I'd be less bored

I couldn't make school priority number one

Now what will I say after it's all done?

Did I give it my all?

No, 'stead of studying I went outside to ball

'Stead of doing better, my grades just stalled

And I knew I could have pushed myself over that wall

My grades were good, could've been great

Eighty fives but could've pushed for ninety eights

I only did enough to get by

The only person to blame is I

Now money for my number one is a dream

Putting in extra work wasn't even as hard as I made it seem
