Lack of Vision
To be truly blind is to not see what is right in front of you.
Unfortunately at times we are all blind.
Blind to family, friends,
Things we see everyday.
But what is worse not seeing of not being seen?
Should we be bitter for lack of sight?
Or lack of attention?
Should we swear up and down that we've been wronged?
Perhaps ignorance is best.
Is it life we must be ignorant to or is it truth?
Because unfortunately life isn't truth nor is truth life.
It seems from birth, the beginning of life that truths are thrown at us.
However we are blind to many of these truths.
Perhaps it's purposeful ignorance.
I know at times I'm afraid of them.
And it would be a mistake to believe I am alone.
Others have this fear, others have the same ache in their chests when faced with them.
So to be blind is normal.
But to be normal must one be blind?
