Lacrosse
Leaving my mind are the thoughts of the day,
Attacking the shooter,
Catching her off guard,
Racing for the ball as it skids
On the grass,
Something in me changes when I
Step onto the field. It's as if
Everything around me disappears and I'm left waiting for the final buzzer.
