The Ladder

Understanding seems like a tall ladder to

some acquaintances in my life

I might as well let the ladder fall, because

they don't even care to climb it to see what I

see

The view is miles long of beauty and rhymes

Certainly with timing as each brush of wind

falls into place; so easily

So carefully; perfectly

I swear it's like a puzzle; each day

One piece goes into place, what will the

picture be?

When will this puzzle be solved and

finsihed?

I keep climbing the ladder to convince

myself this is reality

I'm awake, I'm awake

I'm not dreaming
