Lake Life

Lake Life

Baby in stroller

Laughs when it is pushed quickly

Around the old lake

Fishing with grandpa

The little child grows bored

And plays make believe

Teen riding her bike

Developing thoughts of life

Circling the lake

Adults walking dog

Running with her companion

Who sniffs the water

All these things I’ve been

My local lake’s life cycle

Center of my world
