Lamenting Truth

They dribble out your mouth like overflowing water. Like a dam, holding back a rushing river. Slightly cracking, slowly breaking. The cracks in your thin façade are melting you. I can see right through. You may fool the blissfully ignorant, but you cannot fool me. The river of lies is now so deep, you’re drowning. Struggling to breathe, quickly sinking. You have done this to yourself. This is your fault. Never taking a second to stop and think. Always choosing selfishly, You are tangled up, your legs are not free, you gasp for air. It is fleeting quickly, you caused your own downfall. The lies will overtake you.
