L'amour des Fleurs

The sweetest of scents
resonates
from the sweetest of fleurs.
Yet,
that sweet nectar
which gather's
upon
pale petals beckons incessantly.

Dew drops form,
within mornings time,
as
if washing away you…
yet,
your scent
lingers
filling my chest
with
an overbearing tumult.
the sea
within me
roars,
as the wind
slashes away at haggard flesh.

I've
endured for so
long,
and still
I recall the
appearance
of that sweet nectar,
upon
fine white…
petals.

Rain falls,
just as wind enters,
so please
let me drink from you
the splendor
that is you…
however,
if it be fate,
that drown eternally
within black sea's,
and torn apart
by violent winds,
then I shall
endure it…
just so
that I may
at least,
be left with
the memory
of your
sweet scent,
and nectar.

Wind cuts violently,
upon newly exposed bone…
nonetheless,
I stand ignoring pain.
For I have you, my sweet
Blanche fleur…
I have the memory
of your softness like silk,
ingrained
within my bones.
I have the memory
of your sweet scent like
honey suckle and lilac,
ingrained
within my ailing heart.
But most importantly,
I have the memory
of sweet nectar
ingrained within my soul…
so,
that when
we part,
I shall
be yours
forever.
