Land of the brave

The world today is at war.

People screaming for more-

More peace, more love,

more reaching for the stars above.

No more war, no more lies,

no more spit in our people's eyes.

The land we live in is indeed the land of the brave.

The brave are inprisoned,

The cowards are safe.

Our water is tainted,

Our kids are poisoned,

Black and brown bodies dying in the street.

And yet,

We're the land of the brave and home of the free.
