The Land of Crystal Castles

The deepest crimson adorns

A canvas skin,

Wrapped securely in its hued dimension.

It holds the sun in space,

Keeping it a face

Peeking out from a blanket of ocean.

A crystal castle reflects the waters

And the whispering woodlands,

Encasing a sacred mountain.

I am the smallest grain of sand

With wooden staff in hand.

My wayward feet approach its mouth.

Infinite staircases spiral

To unknown heights

And menacing depths.

The Journeyer steps to its edge.

I feel the pulse of life

As I step into a colored shadow.
