Land of The Free.....

Back of the bus, Know your place Follow the rules and you'll be safe Pale faces, wrinkled in disgust They think they have the right, They think they own us Separate lives because of skin As if being darker is really a sin They are beneath us, division is the answer The pale faced ignorance spreads like a cancer We've had enough, we'll fight back Even though we risk being attacked We fought for our rights, peacefully and violently Change will not come if we endure this silently Today life is different, we get along fine We can dine and learn together without it being a crime But it still exists, buried in too many minds The land of the free and home of the brave... When will we live up to this claim?
