The Land of the Free
The land of the free,
That held so many slaves.
The land of the brave,
That hides in fear.
The land of the diverse,
The majority turned away.
The land of the free,
That waited to be free.
The land under God,
That accuses the believers.
The land of ambition,
That’s ruled by status.
The land of the free,
That only pretends to be free.
The land of the Americans,
That killed the natives.
The land of the people,
That’s controlled by the few.
The land of the free,
Such a dream we live.
