The Land of Luck

In the land of green hills and flowers.

Fields of shamrocks and April showers.

Where leprechauns sit on grassy knolls.

At the end of rainbows with their pots of gold.

A place where castles touch the sky.

Where people hold their glasses high.

All the pubs are full of cheers.

Where kings and queens have called home for years.

A place where festivities fill the air.

Where music and laughter are heard everywhere.

Where mist and fog cover mountains.

Laughs and cheers flow like fountains.

A land of luck a place of love.

Where spirits are as free as a dove.

The land is where the beauty lies.

So I gaze upon it through these Irish eyes.
