Land of Sorrow

Sorrow and pain I greet with disdain we trust in the power of the evils that reign Martin Luther King had a great dream that we cannot accomplish unless we become a team white and black recognized by race not judged by our assets but judged by our face the eyes of the people are riddled with sin if we stopped judging without but judged from within Christ said to be as a little child innocent in mind meek and mild to see the best in the people we see and to build not break their incredible dreams we all set markers and goals in our life fighting through pain going through strife but all that matters is having love peace and joy that comes from above people will steal and kill in this land of sorrow but Jesus comes quickly just as the morrow we search and search for a reality we want things to be the way that they seem liberty and equality a great vocabulary for a government whose policies are elementary we will never be equal pain will never cease til all of our sins from within are released if we seek freedom and we want happiness we need to be like George Washington who said he was blessed as Abraham Lincoln and Christopher Columbus who thought that God was the greatest among us when we fear the master and we become saved the world won't be hungry and it won't be enslaved love and harmony "the hippie dream" is what God intended and it will always be
