Landing Site
Oh landing site,
a light so so bright,
will you please take me away,
so I can not tell the difference between night and day.
Everything hurts so bad, to where it has turned into a numb feeling.
I feel when I look into the mirror my whole body is peeling.
Going down, down, down, and I feel like I will drown.
Why haven't the seas filled up my sight?
Maybe because I'm looking too far beyond the bright light,
Sometimes wondering there's so much on this planet,
and yet the simplest things happen and I think to myself
god damnit
What reaons do certain things happen? Some people should
get a slapping, but no.
No violence, I stay
sitting there in the silence. No word to be spoken,
because I am too broken.
Inside it hurts, and I want to burst,
but I can not cry, because I will deny.
That I am hurting for someone and not myself.
I shall not dare to be a pack of cards laying lifelessly on that shelf.
Oh it's a scary thing.
But to face the music and to sing.
Oh dear may I hear the ring.
In my ears, and now I look back on all of those countless years.
Oh landing site please take me away, until proven right
maybe I will stay
