Landlord

The hairs on my head stand up

I know you have entered the room

Crawled into my senses and set up camp

Wish you paid rent

then maybe I wouldn’t feel so abandoned

The only tenant of my heart

I should post an eviction notice

but then you’d be homeless

and I would own nothing
