Landscape

Proverbs 16:24 New English Translation (NET Bible)

24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing] to the bones.

Horror

Strokes on paper as words are failing

Where is inspiration?

Thoughts are missing as dullness is growing

Where from here to go?

There’s no shortcut or a roadmap

or an invitation

to bail me out of this solemn estate

and this I seem to know

A picture on a canvas wished for

but the first strokes are a blot

A landscape never formed

just a misery of running colors

Much like modern art

where inspiration seems missing

but gets praised by the rich

to a true artist’s horror
