the language of flowers

he was pretty

like every wild blossom

i could pick him

and see nothing of wilting life

in wild pretty eyes

but he whispered in my ears

i tucked him behind my hair

i think we are far apart when we're together

because i do not speak

the language of flowers

I've been writing for a while. I'm genderfluid, an atheist, liberal, pro-feminism, pro-choice, pro-philosophy.
