Language of Souls
We do not speak the same language,
Nor do we come from the same place.
We don't even eat the same food,
Or look the same way.
Look at how easy it is,
To shy away and not say a word.
But instead your eyes smile,
As our feet touch the floor.
Who are we to ask what you do?
Or what life is like at home?
How could we create this barrier,
That was only built to be knocked down.
Though something is off.
Your body is the same,
The same language being spoken.
Our bodies shake when we laugh,
And clap when they are able and proud.
How could we have just read the fine line,
But not the fine print?
We don't know who you are,
Or where exactly you may come from.
But we do know one thing,
Our souls are only one.
