Lap of Nature

In the lap of Nature 

The water hurried around 

The water rushed around 

It's should, it laughed 

It's screamed in Joy 

My heart filled up with joy

As the board lanced 

It sped and pushed against 

The beauty of the Blue water 

We smiled and laughed 

We screamed in joy 

Our hands washed in bubbles 

The mountains all around 

Smiled gently as they enjoyed 

The warmth of the sunshine 

The Green Mountain cover 

Seemed to join in the fun and joy danced 

Along with the Gentle 

Breeze

These are my memories of the summer holidays 

And they helped me move day to day
