The Last Bell

It's the start of the end, The end of the year, Pipe down my friend, 'Cause the end is near, I feel the air as it bustles about, I see the people as they holler and shout, The eyes of elders clouded with doubt, No work to be done, everyone having fun, It's time to relax, We've done our part, Just check the facts, Let the fun start, Skin gets bronze like the statues of old, The stories of school have all been but told, Even the nights refuse to be cold, These are the memories we'll be remembering, Time to kill, Into the fast cell, Don't let it fill, Until the last bell.
