Last Call

I was suppose to call I was suppose to call him that day But I pushed it away Pushed him away Too busy to reply Too busy to say hello or goodbye Excuses I told myself I was suppose call him that day But I never did try Now my heartaches In pain Thumping Crying Because I’m the reason you died in vain Why did you have to leave me? ANSWER ME! You promised me you were feeling better YOU LIED! You let the demons get inside They tore you apart They took you away from my heart I can’t lose you I WON’T lose you But I did And when you die Who am I to criticize How the lord decides So I pray But I wonder if he knew He was my last call that day
