Last Call


My shadow was crying out to me

beyond all darkness and light

Saying that life is a trap in reverse

 caught between wrong and right

 

Dichotomy claims what polarity feigns

academics locking the gate

Where shadows crawl under what locks in our fear

—abandoning us to fate
