Last Chapter, First Page

Alarm, beep beep beep,

Wipe grogginess away,

Wishing for more sleep,

Nervous jitters on the first day,

It's not the first time I am here,

Think of the past three years and reminsce,

Freshman, sophomore, and junior years so clear,

Those were the years of fun and bliss,

Walk into the building for the fourth August in a row,

Flashbacks to the musical, biology class, and holiday ball,

Flash forward to the future which holds, I do not know,

With college around the corner I feel the pressure to relive it all,

Leaving high school behind will be no small task,

But I am lucky to not have to ask,

Will I miss this experience so dear,

Hopefully not yet, I have one more year!
