The Last Cry

How could we have been soo blind?

How could we not see?

That though there was choas in the world we still had peace?

Sure there were countries of bombs and fights.

But those countries you see were small.

They could not affect the rest of the world,

As we could affect them all.

We were warned before, oh many times past,

to be careful and watch, cant you see.

But no one yes no one was smart enough,

no, no one would dare take heed.

Now the world thrives in choas, its closer to home,

and no one here has blinked an eye.

Do you dare think the devils would show themselves,

or like magicians slight of hand all their lies.

For as we here at home worry amongst ourselves,

the fights at heart petty and small,

we lose sight of a picture much bigger and clear,

which in the end we ALL will lose all.

Take heed you were warned, take heed you did not,

and soon now will come its due.

The pettiness, fanciful in its disgrace,

is soon to cost all of you.

I urge you once more please stop and take heed,

for the warnings are well overdone,

Lost in shameful hate and deciet,

i can see in your hearts he has won.

No longer do i see the worth of the past,

the promise of hope from before,

The ways that race within this dying place,

is sure to bring you to war.

But the war i tell you one last time,

is not of that which you own,

its not of a land in which you dont need,

its your souls that have turned to stone.
