The Last Generation

I found myself in a generation

Stranded and running out of time

But I wasn't alone

All around me people would be

But they'll never know what its like to see

Blinded by their confomaty and insecurities

Struggling to live the lies parents taught them

As the Earth turns from green to gray

We wave at happiness

goodbye

Hiding from the truth behind a screen

Second by second taking away our lives

I scream out

Look up and see

I scream out

Wake up and be the change this world needs

Did they hear me

I guess we will see
