Last Goodbye

Last goodbye

From the moment I laid eyes on you and you held me in your hands I knew you were my love at first sight

your eyes looking in to mine and me just sitting there with a big smile on my face

When you took me to school for the first time I cried because I didn't want you to leave. Saying good bye was the worst thing

Growing up I always gave you a hard time but we were able to get over it and be best friends again

Now I'm older and wiser and we have a great bond; mother and daughter you were my best friend I told you any and every thing

I saw you go through the toughest year of your life I watched you suffer and I witness you get back up on your feet every time you fell you never let anything keep you down

Now you have falling hard and can't get back up but I stood by your side without a doubt and every inch of hope

Here is the day where you are still down and me still by your side holding your hand taking your last breath me saying I love you and you saying it back

I can honestly say I thought back to that day when you said your first good bye now it's your last.
