Last Laugh

I watched The Dark Knight and had to answer the question, Why So Serious? Why so furious? Why are we so delirious? And why is nothing clear to us? Life is short, so why do the Bloods be trippin', cuz? Time is money- why is that the sh*t to us? We don't have it and we forgot what the mission was. They killed our leaders like "them niggers ain't shit to us" But still we move on Because we're so strong Hitting home runs, just so we can bail bonds. No steroids, let us ALL build on To our legacies and embed them in our sons Tell them they can be anything they want As long as they know the answer is never a gun. But back to the world. The here and now. Watching the news, all I hear about Injustice in the south, people losing their child. We've all been done so wrong, And it's happened so long But we still grow strong, like we did in the past Can I promise that we, the people will have the last laugh?
