last letter

This is my last letter

As I write this with a smile

I know that I am loved, but

this pain is too much to take

I hope you understand.

I needed help but never found any

I have voices that keep me down,

They won’t let me see the sun.

I tried to stay strong, but I have

proven to be weak. I’m sorry

These voices won’t let me live

This is my last letter.

As I write this with a smile.

I know that I am loved, but

I’m afraid it's my time to go

fallow this pull to say goodbye

to those I love. But I’m too scared

to face you.

Promise to hold the happy memories

hold our stories close one day we

shall see each other again. I tired to

stay strong but have proven to be weak

You told me to breathe, but I traded my

last breath for a pair of wings.
