Last Moment

Giant tires surround us.

Maggie attempts a smile, which results in a smirk.

William throws his head in his hands, exhausted.

Ava whirls around, her blonde hair her cape.

We have had bad times

                      sad times

times in which we wouldn't talk.

But I want to remember my wonderful group of four

                     as the quirkiest kids

                      the most obnoxious

                      the annoyingly loud

and the bestest friends

that I could ask for.
