last moments
(poems go here) As you take your last ounce of breath the red pedals unfold like wings,
Yet never taking flight, becoming submissive to the world, the weight of others pushes them down towards the ground Descending, and spreading their beauty all over the floor.
A beautiful flower rooted in you core sewn to your soul blooms in its entirety.
Its red pedals pierce the senses springing about emotions no human can withstand. It takes your warmth and spills it out to paint a portrait of your life for the world to see.
So enchanting the sight has become, that the vibrant red depresses any who take in its purity
All your loved ones are crying. Waiting for you to stand straight up and wrap them in your love filled embrace. Can you hear the young ones crying for their mommy?
They screaming out loud “mami wake-up.” With tears run-in down those innocent faces. “Please show us your smile.”
“Why is she so cold?” No one can console them. For the pressure of depression holds their tongues and wraps its fingers around their necks.
It’s irrational to see you hunched over. I never even got to feel the warmth of your skin; we never felt each other’s love.
How dare you take her away? All the happiness you brought us, all the love you gave, and had, Is in the possession of death.
Have you gone to heaven or have you returned from whence you came. I wish you were here holding my hand.
Good bye to my vivid and beautiful lover. I’ll meet you soon.
