LAST MOMENTS
LAST MOMENTS
Walking up to the shoreline
As the full moon reflected on the ocean
And looking down at the glistening waters
Wondering, what's on the other side
Taking deep breaths, I jumped
Into the water, it was so peaceful
That the more I looked down
All I could see was darkness
Pulling me in as I started to notice
How long was I in the water?
Some moments later I tried to swim up
As I could hear people screaming for me
So faintly until then were the voices gone
I knew I couldn’t reach to the top any longer
Running out of air I knew
It was going to be the end for me
Drowning into the darkness of the waters
Was going to be the last place I would be in
I closed my eyes thinking about what would happen
If I didn’t jump into the waters
Either a way I knew I couldn’t change the past
But as I replayed scenes in my head it was too late
I never knew it would end this way but it did
I wish I could’ve spent more time and be thankful
But the least I can say those in my life is
Thank. You. And. Good. Bye. World.
