Last Night (edited)

Last night we stood in a grand cathedral

And we made some vows that were matrimonial

Last night was the night we said I do

Last night was to the first night of me and you

Last night we rode in a black horse carriage

To a hotel where we did our dance in

Suite III where we stayed all night

Last night was the first night of our lives

Started with a silky allemande

Cranked it up to an effervescent courante

Sarabande was the relaxation

And the Gigue was the termination

Last night
