The Last Piece of Me

All I can hear are their step
Just walking over me
Making me to weak to stand,
To weak to push them off.
My hopes and drems being crushed,
Like egg shells beneath their feet.
So many scattered pieces;
Still I hold on to one piece,
But scared to that all I have left,
And what is left of me,
Will be crushed I stand up.
Holding it still close to me;
I fight back because that piece
Means more to me,
Means more than what they say.
What I do is for me
And in my hopes and dreams
I will succeed for this is for me.
