The Last Text

A mother and Daughter on there way to see aunt Charlene
She's jumping for joy like you haven't see
While her mother is texting her boyfriend about plans for their night
And just as she was going to press send…

BOOM!
All of a sudden
No light

The next thing she sees is her daughter body in the street
Running, Running, Running
To get to her side
But then,
She realizes she to late
She thinks to herself
“Is this really my fate?”
Anger begins to run through her like a fire within
Sprouting from her head to her toes
A feeling she only knows
That is her daughter lying in the street

Is her boyfriend really that important?

No!
That is her daughter in the street
Blood on her hands and feet

Only she,
Her mother
Is to blame
What a shame
