Last Time I Looked Out a Window

Last time I looked out a window, I cried Cried for my loved ones The ones left behind I cried for the sinners The rebels like me I cried for good people Who were crying for me My heart broke in two For my blood For my heart For the hurt that I caused In both my life and yours I remember the stars In the October night sky That night was the first I looked into your eyes I cry for the broken hearted I cry for those who are whole I cry for those not trusted and I cry for those who are I cry for the burdens that each of us bear that we carry through life until we're in death's precious care
