The last time I saw

The last time I saw her,

She led her steps by grace.

She walked as if the world was in her hands.

As she walked, she did not look back or say a word,

My heart melted.

It was as if blood was running through my hands.

I never understood

Why was it so hard for her to say goodbye.

I will never know.

I loved her like a fat kid loves cake.

The fact that I knew she was gone,

Made my head spin as if I was spinning in circles.

Missing you never hurt so good,

I'll never forget the love we shared.
