The Last Time I Saw My Dad
It was September 17, 2013
My dad had bought a T.V.
For my sister and I
We had put it together that day
My dad was happy that day
There was no sign that something bad was going to happen
September 18, 2013
My grandparents came
My dad was laughing
And he was having a great time with my grandparents
There was no sign that something bad was going to happen
September 20, 2013
My mom dropped my dad to the bus station
My mom tried to call, but it was dead silent
like a graveyard
Ring! Ring! Ring!
My sister answered the phone
A woman was on the phone
She said my dad was in critical condition
We rushed to Jefferson Hospital
It was too late
My dad had died
he died on September 20, 2013
Because of a heart attack
My life had changed so much ever since
It has been hard for my family and I, but
My mom is trying to be strong
Like a lion
