Last to leave
"I can't wait to get a little house and have us figuring it all out."
but he was already my place of safe and sound.
from the moment we started to take the risks,
my well-being now bound with his
over time it got harder to hold on,
the little thing tempted me to go back to the roots I grew from.
'cause in his mind he already went to her to feed his everlasting greed.
and soon the house at the end of the street,
was lone and full of past ghosts
I lost, stopped getting to close
our meet, our love, our past.
it ended with me at last.
fated to burn the defining letter,
"I won't hesitate to find better"
