Last Tuesday

I'm never saying sorry
again.

Freedom isn't free,
and I'm not who you think
I am.
I'm worse.

You saw me, but didn't
realize that I saw you.
Acknowledge this.
Please.

I do still miss you.
It's been almost six months
since we last spoke,
and if you asked me if I
still love you, I would say
yes.

You ruined me.
I never lied to you.
Talk to children about nuclear war,
all of your light can't save me.
